National Health Center Week is August 3-9. It’s a time where we put a spotlight on the great work that health centers across the country do for their communities. Did you know that there are nearly 1,500 Community Health Centers (CHCs) in the country providing services in approximately 16,000 communities to millions of patients? As part of National Health Center Week, we are celebrating our staff, patients, and the partners in the community that help each other every day and support health and wellness in our community.
August 4, the Winslow Community Cupboard Mobile Food Pantry, a trusted partner that brings fresh, nutritious food directly to our patients, staff and community members at our Newport and Dexter sites. We thank the incredible team and volunteers at WCC for all they do to nourish our community, one meal, one visit, one act of kindness at a time.
